Hickatee Cottages offers opportunities for every guest while staying at the property:
> use of CRUISER bikes
For the occasional days when you're not off exploring, feel free to make use of our rustic cruiser bikes to cycle into town and the surrounding PG area.
> WiFi access
We are proud to promote a 'tech-free vacation', but WiFi is available at the Ex-Servicemen's Bar, around the property grounds and in your cottage.
> CULTURAL EVENTS
Enjoy a complimentary 1-hour 'jam' session of Garifuna Drumming, Singing and Dancing on the Hickatee Cottages verandah during your stay.
> Fallen Stones
Private, exclusive access to the largest butterfly breeding farm in the country.
> NATURE TRAILS
We have over a mile of jungle trails through the property, which is home to a surprising array of wildlife! As you follow the trails winding through the trees, you may spot toucans, butterflies, quash, and jaguarundi, or watch the iguanas dropping into the small creek. We don't guarantee it, but you're almost certain to hear the roar of the howler monkeys at some stage during your stay, and there's a good chance of spotting them 'in the bush'. Keep an eye out for tracks!

Ex-servicemen's BAR & Main HOUSE
Ex-Servicemen's Bar & Main House is at the heart of Hickatee Cottages. Titled after our frontage road, Ex-Servicemen Road, this name originated when land was granted to Belizean Servicemen who served in World War II.
Ex-Servicemen's Bar & Main House serve as bar, restaurant/dining hall, reception, and information center!
While at the Main House, watch the hummingbirds feeding from the hibiscus flowers, or read our books on local history, culture, folklore, fiction, and the plentiful wildlife of Belize!
Our bar is stocked with local beers, spirits, and a small selection of imported wines.
Plentiful home-cooked meals, using fresh seasonal produce from the market in Punta Gorda, are served on the verandah.
